Pretty good this week. Walked 30 minutes tues, thurs. and Friday. Made myself do it even when pretty worn out first thing in the morning. Did some stretching today, and it felt really good and made a big difference. Our mattress here in LA is crummmmmmy. My back is worse here than anywhere else we live, stay, sleep. Even the floor in Glendale. And I would have walked Wed.morning but I had a phone appt. with Susan. That has to count for something, right? Taking care of myself????? The only thing is that now that I'm ready to go for 30 minutes walking, now I need to up my goal to 3 hrs. a week. Well, I'll get there in my own time, I guess.

Way to go taking care of yourself! Yes, that MUST count for something. With your current goal of 30 min 4x a week, you are not too far off from your new requirements. SO don't get too worked up about it yet. Get consistant with your current goal before you reach too far into the future and get too down on yourself with high expectations. We are all steps ahead of where we were when we began. Literally!And, does streching count towards your "required" time? If so, 2 hrs of walking plus a little streching here and there and you are pretty close to right on!

I agree about the stretching, mom. Ellen asked a professional trainer what exercise she would choose if she could only do one, and she said, "stretching". So, do your walking and in a couple of weeks, add in stretching!. You are doing so wonderfully! Keep up the good work. You are amazing.
