Here I am telling you all not to give up. Just do a little bit, you'll be glad you did.
Well, it's about time I just do a little bit.
I haven't been out since Wednesday. Last week. Humph.
It's time for me to get back on the horse. And stay there.
But my feet can't reach the stirrups. And I can't read the instructions I wrote. I need a push. Help!

I lost my first try somewhere in cyberspace, so here I go again. You don't know what a bother this is for me to have to do that, so now you know how much I want to do this! (Comprende?)
Do not give up. Do just a little. You'll be glad you did!
Margie, do not set a big goal to reach sometime down the road. You need a goal that you can do right now. It does not need to be big! At Karen's suggestion, my first goal was to "walk out the door, go down the stairs, walk around the apartment complex once, go up the stairs, and go back in the door." It sounds sooooo minimal. But I needed something to just get me in the habit of going out the door. When that got to be easy, then I increased my walking time. SOOOOO, recognize that a small goal that is doable brings success. Go for that. You might even start with just 5 minutes of stretching your legs in the morning, or on your break. You can adjust as you go.
Well, this isn't exactly what I wrote the first time, but you get the idea. HEY, GIRL! We love you! WE ARE ON YOUR SIDE!!! RAH, RAH, RAH!!! Besides, if you reach EVEN a tiny goal, we will celebrate WITH YOU! We will send you PATS ON THE BACK! We will CLAP OUR HANDS and do HUGE JUMPS! And Janet can even do a CARTWHEEL!
Seriously, we are here for you. And love you soooo much. And good for you for asking us to support you. Now, that is a huge step in the right direction!
LOVE YOU!
ps You are NOT bad! You may be having a bad time getting going, but you are NOT bad!
Margie-- I second mom's motion. Youa re so awesome to be able to run marathons--someday I wanna be like you! right now, start out small to make it a habit. That is your first goal. I know you can do more, but right now, just start the habit. Don't give up. I would give you a puch, but what I really want to do is, to walk out the door with you and do a 5 minute walk and come back and stretch for 5 minutes and then come back and do it again tomorrow. I love you so much and that would be so fun. I will imagine doing that while you walk out the door, or whatever your MINIMAL goal is. Here's to success!
