HI Family!

Wow! I was checking the blog everyday and no one was posting anything.  So I stopped checking for a couple days.  I looked today and ka-BLAOO!  A whole bunch of posts.  Go family!

I haven't been exercising.  I've been recouping from a cold turned sinus infection.  Yick!  I'm feeling back to normal today, just a rattling cough deep in my chest.  And some thick snot too.  But whatever.

Both my hips have been bothering me so I've decided to walk instead of run.  Which is hard because I LOVE the hard workout I get from running.  Walking just doesn't feel like enough!  But I can't ruin my hips either.  

I have been integrating walking into my daily/weekly routine.  The chapel is close enough to walk when I go on Sunday's and when I practice mid-week.  Also, Target, Wal-Mart, and the library are within walking distance for short errands and such.  That has been fun.  Plus, the weather is starting to turn nice for Spring which makes the walks more likely and frequent.

You don't have to run to be fit. And if your hips complain, listen! But if it's sore muscles, that's different. But, Marge, don't beat yourself up. Enjoy the walking, moving thing. That makes an active life, too, and is much more open to spontaneity, which you LIKE!
